Welcome — I’m Clare Bay, Gestalt Therapist

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or simply “stuck.”
Whether you’re an adolescent finding your place in the world, an adult navigating change, or a family seeking deeper understanding, therapy can be a powerful step toward clarity, ease, and emotional wellbeing.

I’m a Gestalt Therapist working holistically with mind, body and environment. My approach is creative, grounded, and deeply relational — blending talking therapy with embodied methods, expressive work, and nature-based exploration. No two people are the same, which is why every session is tailored to your unique needs, pace, and potential.

Working Together

I believe self-awareness is the foundation of personal growth. When we begin to understand ourselves more fully — our patterns, emotions, needs and beliefs — we open the door to meaningful change.

Sometimes, however, this awareness becomes blocked by old stories, negative thought patterns, or behaviours that no longer serve us. These can leave us feeling disconnected, dissatisfied or unsure of how to move forward.

Gestalt Therapy offers a non-judgemental, compassionate space to explore what’s happening in the present moment. Together, we work to:

  • Notice what’s really going on beneath the surface

  • Understand how your mind and body respond to challenges

  • Develop new choices, perspectives, and ways of relating

  • Reconnect with creativity, confidence, and emotional balance

It’s a gentle, powerful process that helps you come home to yourself.

A Holistic, Creative & Nature-Informed Approach

Sessions may include:
🌿 Talking therapy
🎨 Creative and expressive techniques
🧘 Body-based awareness and grounding
🌲 Nature therapy and outdoor exploration

This flexible way of working supports deep healing and feels especially helpful for young people, neurodivergent clients, those feeling disconnected from their bodies, or anyone drawn to a more creative path to wellbeing.

Why Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy uses regular, supportive interaction to help you move through difficulties and make meaningful changes. It can help you shift unhelpful patterns, ease emotional distress, improve relationships, and enhance overall wellbeing.

It’s a space to grow, to understand, and to rediscover your sense of self.
